Welcome to HIDA – Hevick Institute of Digital Arts (hida.lk).

These Terms and Conditions govern the checkout, payment, and enrollment processes for all digital products, online training programs, and services offered on our website. By proceeding with a purchase or course enrollment, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. HIDA is wholly owned and operated by Hevick Studios (Pvt) Ltd.

1. Pricing and Payment

• Currency & Localized Pricing: Course prices are dynamically displayed based on your current country of residence. You will be billed in the currency shown to you at checkout, which is determined by your geographic location.
• Payment Plans: For our On-Demand Self-Study modules, a full upfront payment is required at the time of checkout. For the Live Online Training Program, students have the option to pay in full upfront or select an approved installment plan during checkout.
• Installment Obligations: If an installment plan is selected for a Live Online Training Program, the initial payment secures your seat. Subsequent payments must be made strictly according to the agreed-upon schedule. Failure to pay scheduled installments may result in a temporary suspension of your access to the live classes and the student portal until the balance is cleared.
• Price Changes: HIDA reserves the right to modify course prices, promotional offers, and discount codes at any time without prior notice. However, price changes will not affect orders or active installment plans that have already been confirmed.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payments through standard online payment gateways and Direct Bank Transfer (BACS).

For Direct Bank Transfers:

• Payments must be made directly to the Hevick Studios (Pvt) Ltd corporate account (Account Number: 005210008464) at Sampath Bank PLC (Kottawa Branch).
• You must use your provided Order ID as the payment reference.
• Orders will remain in an “On Hold” status until the funds have fully cleared in our account.
• To expedite the enrollment process, students are required to submit a clear photograph or screenshot of the deposit slip/transfer receipt to our support team.
• If payment is not received and verified within 3 business days of the order placement, the order may be automatically cancelled.

3. Course Enrollment & Digital Access

• On-Demand Self-Study: Upon successful payment verification, you will receive immediate, lifetime access to your purchased video curriculum and project files via your student portal.
• Live Online Training: Upon successful payment verification (full or initial installment), your seat in the selected intake batch is secured. You will receive access instructions, schedules, and Microsoft Teams meeting links prior to the official commencement date. HIDA reserves the right to reschedule live cohorts; in such events, students will be notified immediately.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Due to the digital nature of our educational content, our refund policy is strictly enforced to protect our intellectual property:

• On-Demand Courses: All sales of On-Demand Self-Study courses are final. Once a student has been granted access to the Learning Management System (LMS) and video vault, no refunds will be issued.
• Live Online Training: Cancellations for Live Online Training programs must be requested at least 3 days prior to the first scheduled class to be eligible for a full refund of your upfront payment or initial installment deposit. No refunds will be issued once the live training program has commenced.
• Administrative Errors: If you are accidentally charged twice for the same transaction, please contact our support team immediately with your Order ID for a prompt reversal of the duplicate charge.

5. Account Security

When checking out, an account will be created for you on the HIDA portal. You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Sharing your account access, course videos, or downloadable assets with unregistered individuals is a violation of these terms and will result in the immediate termination of your account without a refund.
